background: charlotte was born in north myrtle beach, south carolina. they had a nice house near the beach, where charlotte could walk out there all the time. this was what she did, sitting by the beach all weekend long and sometimes during the week when she had less homework.

the family was fairly well off so she went to a private school for elementary and middle school. she didn’t like it much, the people there were a bit snotty but there were a few very nice girls that she stayed friends with throughout school.

just before her freshman year started, her parents announced that they would be moving to new hampshire. charlotte wasn’t thrilled but there was nothing she could do about it. this was, of course, when she started attending mount olivier.
