background: Ash grew up without a father, which wasn't a big deal to him. Instead, it was quite normal. His mother, Bay, meet a man named Fred when she was 17. They fell in love, but one day Fred disappeared (Most likely ran off) and left Bay with a single note explaining he was sorry and would come back one day. Bay had Ash when she was 18, and being a bright girl she was she made it through life, juggling Ash and life without complaint. Alice also helped out quite a bit though, and Ash has an admiration of both of them. He was a quiet child, not daring to embarrass his mother. Ash was social, but never really was determined to make it to the top. Bay was offered a better job in New Hampshire, so the two of them set off to Mount Oliver. Ash will be the new kid, and he is not too fond of that thought.
